About Ed
Ed Macias is Executive Director of Montaurion Capital, where he focuses on financial analysis for real estate: reducing risk and finding sound opportunities in the market. He brings more than 20 years in the financial services industry, including mortgage lending and executive management, and a focus on helping families build generational wealth.
In 2009 he co-founded Equal 7 Advisors in Irvine, where as CEO he leads strategy to help companies grow revenue, expand their market share and prepare for growth capital. In 2014 he founded Lender Funnel, a mortgage marketing brand that built a library of education videos for first-time home buyers.
Earlier, he led marketing, brand and product vision at My Dreams Media, and co-founded ZoneIn2.com, a social networking platform whose technology was acquired by the public company Bizzingo.
Since 2010 Ed has advised the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on technology, marketing and fundraising, and he supports nonprofits that promote financial self-sufficiency for underserved families. He studied at San Diego State University, where he played football for the Aztecs.
