Urban Fit Yoga named Best Yoga Studio at Houston's Best 2026

Some evenings are worth writing down. On October 28, 2026, at the Houston's Best awards, Urban Fit Yoga was named Gold Winner for Best Yoga Studio, as named by residents of the Houston metropolitan area. Master Wayne Campbell walked up to accept the certificate with the people who make the studio what it is: his teachers, his students and his friends.

Who is Urban Fit Yoga?

Urban Fit Yoga is a neighborhood studio in Rice Military, open since 2016, with heated and non-heated classes for every level. Wayne began yoga in 2005, after an injury ended his career as a professional dancer, and went on to win two World Yoga Championship titles and three USA National Yoga Championship titles. Years of studying how the body moves led him to create Stretch Yoga Therapy: long held, resistance and dynamic stretches that help people with chronic tightness and pain move better.

Why does this recognition matter?

Because it comes from the people who take the classes. An award named by Houston residents is a public record of what a community already knows: the studio keeps its promise, class after class. The recognition belongs to Wayne and his community, and it was earned over years of teaching, long before we met.

What is our part in it?

We have been Urban Fit Yoga's digital partner since July 2026. Our work is the foundation behind the studio online: a site audit, page titles and descriptions that say what the studio offers and where, Houston keyword research and a written marketing roadmap. You can read the full story on the Urban Fit Yoga portfolio page, and how we work with studios and gyms on our longevity page.

It was an honor to stand on that stage with them. Behind every great local business is a community of people who believe in what it is building, and this evening showed it.

Congratulations, Wayne, and congratulations to the whole Urban Fit Yoga family.
